York Chamber Ensemble is looking for strong musicians. If you are serious about your instrument, practice regularly, and are committed to participating in the orchestra’s rehearsal/concert schedule, please send an email to yce.email@gmail.com with details about your music education and experience.

We are a volunteer group based in York Region, and have 4 to 5 concerts a year, with Tuesday evening rehearsals.
String Players
We are always looking for competent string players who have achieved a minimum proficiency of RCM grade 10 or equivalent. If you are interested in joining us, please contact us at yce.email@gmail.com.
Wind/Brass/Percussion
YCE is primarily a string ensemble. However, many of our concerts require brass, wind and/or percussion players. If you would like to be on our extra players list, please inquire at yce.email@gmail.com.
