Popper’s Requiem for Three Cellos is a richly expressive elegy that showcases the cello’s mournful beauty through interwoven lines of lyrical melancholy and poignant harmony. The program also includes the world premiere of a new commission by Canadian composer Matthew Todd, whose innovative soundscapes add a fresh, contemporary dimension to this diverse musical journey.
