YCE Rehearsals

Regular and punctual attendance at all rehearsals is appreciated by all members of our ensemble.  This ensures a satisfying and productive experience for all participating musicians.

String players are expected to attend all Tuesday night rehearsals (7:15-9:30pm) and concert day (usually 4-6pm). Brass/wind/percussion players are expected to attend the last 2 Tuesday rehearsals and concert day. If you are unable to attend any rehearsals, please contact us at info@yorkchamberensemble.ca. Brass/wind/percussion players are expected to send a sub if unable to attend a rehearsal.

YCE Inclement Weather Policy

In the case of inclement weather and cancellation of a rehearsal is necessary, we will post the cancellation on the home page of our website. A decision will be made by 6pm. Please check our website before heading to rehearsal if the weather is bad.
