“During these unprecedented times the York Chamber Ensemble endeavors to keep live orchestral music thriving and continue to bring community together through innovative and engaging experiences. Together with the Aurora Public Library and the Canada-wide celebration “Culture Days” we are delighted to bring our audience a virtual concert of our favourite transcriptions for string quartet. This season will also include live intimate concerts, featuring such artists as pianist Shoshana Telner performing Mendelssohn’s Piano Concert no. 2 in a special version accompanied by string orchestra.
